Gross Earnings
They refer mostly to remuneration related to work done by an employee. Taxes are chargeable to the employee’s earnings before any deductions are made by your employer, including advances, income attachments or any charges agreed and levied by the employer.
Employment earnings can be paid as hourly wages or agreed fixed monthly salary. In the UK, all remuneration earnings should meet the minimum wage standards. The government sets out minimum hourly wage rates each year.
